When do you sign up for financial aid?

Marcellus Exler: Umm it can go either way. But you need to fill out the FAFSA before June 30 so basically ASAP. And many schools priority deadline is April 15. After you have filled out the FAFSA your school will send you notifications on what to do to get your financial aid (ie submitting your w2's or verification forms). But it might behoove you to apply for Comm Col and then sign up for financial aid. So you can be in there system already.
