Activist do they teach us anything?

Christy Tirabassi: Activist are usually pretty good at bringing a subject into public view.Unfortunately, the way they do that sometimes is through bad attention. So I guess it really just depends on your own personal opinions. Is bad attention better then no attention? And can bad attention sometimes be turned into good attention?Did I just answer your question with a question?Sorry....Show more

Ramon Dahlheimer: Activists teach us that the constitution of America is still alive and well. I do not agree with violent activists. I refuse to idolize a man for setting log trucks on fire then running away to another country (some of you know who I am talking about), this is a cowardly act in my eyes. My state are home grown breeders of activists. I too have been accused of being a activist and was part of such things that were peaceful, helped get the issue brought to the publics eye. Always keeping in mind "One can attract more bee's with honey then vinegar". When I ! feel strongly about something I will have my voice heard, for this is my right as a American and as a human being, same as you (maybe not the American part?). I can be friend or foe which ever the person chooses.Though as I have mentioned there are radicals. For instance, first hand experience;I got involved in a issue I am still very active in. A group of people who are for the same issue decided it was best to make a "government" amongst themselves. Those who did not fallow this structure,or made a move without the proper people knowing that person was subject to redecule. Cults are set up in a very similar way (I admit I am afraid of cults). This to me makes little sense. This has taught me that not all so called "activists" are worthy of recognition. Some activists are extremely dangerous, closed minded, and without morals. It all depends what your definition is of a activist, you get active in something, guess what? You are a activist lol!!...Show more
