Primary Teacher for deaf children.?

Mack Ukich: In the United States, we generally go to classes for 4 years, and spend one semester extra 'student' teaching. For your subject, primary + deaf, you will need to find out the requirements for licensing where you intend to teach. the 'dept. of education' or the counselor at your present school can help you. In college, you would need classes in content areas (math, science etc.) AND most likely 'signing' and technology training as available. Good luck....Show more
