Sure there are going to be those who think they are getting away with it, but as you found out, it usually ends badly.But that being said, sometimes you get stuck, and if there isn't anyone around that can help you, Yahoo answers can give that different perspective, that helps you "get it". --Don't get too angry, fools like that don't make it past their college undergrad writing course. Jestine Osumi: i hav! e found that everytime i "google" something i need to know yahoo answers is the first thing that pops up... same as wikipedia and actually i have seen on syllabis for many of my classes that references pertaining to yahoo answers and wikipedia are not valid because they are not legit....i do think that it is cheating when you ask someone to write you a book report for 10 points on here and then someone actually doing it JUST for the ten points... but if you ask a question on here and they give you a website that will help lead you to the answer then no... it is not cheating...hope this helped...Show more

Raleigh Lufkin: Getting *help* isn't cheating. Having someone else do the assignment is. I will never answer someone that just has a long list of questions to be answered. It's so obvious they just want someone to do their homework for them, and I've never been one for cheating.But I don't mind helping here and there....Show more

Granville Stray: It is blatant c! heating if someone posts a worksheet and asks for all the answ! ers, or if someone asks someone else to write a poem or essay, but if someone explains a math problem or gives ideas for an essay, that is called help, which we all need from time to time.
