Advice on choosing whether or not to have myself home schooled?

Coleman Deliberato: well i am 15 started homeschooling when i was 12 it has its pros and cons with it pros are your at home you can do school whenever you want you cant ever be late you have no homework but the down side you don't meet new people that easy you cant go to school dances and you just don't have the same conversion you would get if you stayed in schoolim way i regret ever being home schooled because your only in high school once and its a big part of a lot of peoples lives so if i had the chance i don't know what i would do i like being home schooled also because i spend so much more time with my mom and dad which is great and i love that so i think your probably making a wise choice if you want some more information on being home schooled this is the website i use its a christian based home schooling and it does have a fee but its minimum i have done both of these sites and there both greatwww.thejubileeacademy.orgwww.k-12freehomeschooling.org don't worry t! hese aren't like ads or whatever there just the schools i have used good luck to you!...Show more

Christiane Cattano: I say get home schooled because it could benefit your for your future. I to like you have an IQ which is 144, but i didn't get an opportunity to get home school. But i think it did me good because im a well rounded person, but sometimes i think i could be alot smarter than my friends. So its your choice...being really smart if you get home schooled or going to school and you have more friends than being home schooled. Its your choice...but back then if i knew what would happen and I had a choice. I would probably chosen to be home schooled...Show more

Maynard Reevers: Also, I am not full of myself about having an IQ of over 140. The reason I cannot post an exact IQ is because after the school I currently attend tested me, they phoned my parents. My parents were recommended not to tell me my IQ until I am at least 16, but I did get my mother to ! tell me whether or not it was over 140, but I couldn't get any! more than that.

Tommy Durrenberger: Also, in a year or two I wouldn't be attending school in the same district anyways, so I really wouldn't feel as if I hate myself for missing my friends all day. I'd still keep in touch with them, but wouldn't really see them often. I also believe that I wouldn't miss it very much, because for the past four years I haven't truly acted as myself around "friends". Instead, I act completely differently than how I'd like to act, just so people would care enough to know my name. I think that I'd feel a bit down for not seeing people very often, but I'd always come back to the fact that I would most likely not enjoy it if I were to see them....Show more

Lindsey Zanardi: I am a 13 year old male with a proven IQ of over 140, so I am considered to be a genius. I am thinking about having myself home schooled, and most likely finishing my high school education when I am 16 or 17. I would take the curriculum of the high school I would at! tend if I wouldn't home school myself. I would like to know if this is a good choice.
