Pokemon Gen IV/V breeding?

Kellie Waycott: if i remember correctly the male poke is the one that passes down the move.id prefer brick break to get rid of anooying reflects n light screen.

Keneth Mailhot: So even if your scyther was a parent it won't be able to teach your scizor superpower. So you are going to have to raise your scyther/scizor in gen 4 and teach it superpower via the move tutor then trade it to black/white for your team.As for your move choice, if you are using a choice band, i would choose brick break because while the extra power is nice, if you get trapped with superpower you are screwed because your defense will keep on going down. Brick break will give you a slightly better chance of surviving, not to mention the extra advantage of getting rid of light screens and such. Scizor is a very strong pokemon and the extra power of superpower isn't neccessary.Good luck!...Show more

Rona Ising: And how much worse would it be to use brick break instead of superpower on the sc! izor if it is going to be used with a choice band? (Please, don't give me like a one sentence answer that tells me nothing I didn't already know like "to breed a pokemon you put two of them in the day care" or something. I only want you to answer if your going to give me a good one.)

Hal Rouse: Its just that does it still learn it from the parents if its not technically an egg move?
