Health care for senators?

Tom Romer: All I'm sure of is that we, the taxpayer's, pay all of the costs of all of the Senator and Representatives members health care insurance costs, which I am sure are the best in the nation. I forget now, but I think a similar plan is given to all those employees there: whether they have to pay anything I don't know, but, I think it is the one single reason why all other Americans never will get to have National health care...because our Senators and Representatives never have to even think about health care of its costs. They don't have any idea what having the burden of health care costs is, or watching a loved one suffer because you cannot afford medical care. Certainly if someone they love gets sick, all of their costs are no burden to the Senators, etc. Really, it is one of the saddest examples of American life,! that we suffer without health care and often without any medical care, even with serious illnesses, because we cannot "afford it" and they benefit from our paying for all of their health care. The really poor get free health care, the rich have it, the middle class works itself to death without. Guess we're too busy paying to kill whoever they want to bomb today. Bizarre....Show more

Marti Declue: Not I, but I kinda of laughed. The fleeting thought was they have NURSING HOME insurance, lets revoke it...

Horace Escue: Don't forget they are the legislators. They definitely have taken good care of themselves and their families.

Micah Schwarcz: I think they can walk into any Federal facility like any military base all over the world and must be treated even though they never served a day on active duty in their life. A military veteran has to have served twenty years to do that.
