Erica Bottaro: It depends on where you are from, where you want to go, the amount of thrills you are seeking, and how much money you want to spend. If you go to one amusement park and make the most of it on the first day, it would suck to have no other place to go.I live in upstate NY, and I'm planning a four or five day trip to OH, where we will go to Cedar Point (the roller coaster capital of the world), Kings Island (a sister park in OH, so we are buying season tickets that will work at both parks), and Kennywood near Pittsburgh. Before my financial condition took a turn for the worse, we planned on flying out to Los Angeles to check out Six Flags Magic Mountain and Knott's Berry Farm. That will have to wait for another year.In Florida, I would be more likely to check out Busch Gardens instead of Disney or Univeral Studios...but you might be able to! fit all of them in during a four day vacation. In VA/NC/GA, I would consider Busch Gardens, Six Flags Over Atlanta, and Carowinds. In DC/MD/NJ/PA, I would consider Six Flags America, Six Flags Great Adventure, and Dorney Park. In PA/NJ, I would consider Hershey Park, Dorney Park, and Six Flags Great Adventure. Knoebels would be another option, but you probably won't have enough time for that.If you are into water parks, Wisconsin Dells is full of them. There is also Extreme World, which seems like the most interesting place for me to go to.It also depends on the ages of the kids. If you have little ones, you might as well plan on not going on very many (if any) thrill rides yourself. If you are ok with that, these choices are still do-able. If you have older kids, you might be able to enjoy more rides yourself. If you have little ones and still want to enjoy rides yourself, it might make sense to bring another adult so you can take turns watching the kids.Hope this hel! ps....Show more
Michal Semple: NOT only is cedar point t! he cheapest probobly, it is the best amusement park hands down. They have everything you could ask for. It is in sandusky ohio.http://www.cedarpoint.com/ . They even have an indoor waterpark. That way you can have both parks in there all year round. They have the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world there. They have 17 roller coasters. That is only the beginning of the park though.
Michal Semple: If you aren't financially strapped like most people are now, I'd go with Disney in Orlando. I live in Florida and I've visited mostly all the bigger theme parks and Disney is the way to go for a family trip. I've stayed there for a few days and it really gives you a chance to go to every park and check everything out without feeling rushed. If you went to Busch Gardens or Sea World, you'd probably finish the park in a day or maybe two. Disney has many parks you can visit and the ParkHopper pass would probably be a good investment. I'm not sure about resorts aroun! d there but I know there's many among the parks. Check out this website for discounts: http://www.greatorlandodiscounts.com/...Show more
Bennie Lantgen: Bush Gardens, Cedar Point, Sea World in Florida, or Disney Land or World. They are all very fun, but Cedar Point may be the cheapest way to go.
