Dalia Causby: I am Mexican and that nude thing is non-sense. Sounds more to me like Americans doing that when they get married in Mexico...It would be really offensive if that happened, especially if the mothers are there...
Piedad Bassiti: i was the only foreign person there...everyone else was mexican. and not mexican-american...but bornin mexico and lived here their entire lives. but i gather from that response its definitely not a normal thing!
Hunter Osterberger: actually my fiance has already mentioned to a few friends he doesnt want that. and we'll enlist the best man to rein in any friends who might think it was funny on the day!
Silvia Stclair: Ii have been to about 6 weddings in Mexico...big fancy ones with wealthy families, more simple, but still large ones, and in-between. These were not weddings of Americans getting married in Mexico...they were traditional Mexican weddings for Mexican citizens. They usually carry the groom around the room ! and toss him in the air a few times at the reception, but NEVER have they taken him to the bathroom and taken his clothes If you and your fiance do not want that at your reception , make it clear to his friends...if they insist they will do it, don't invite them! There are many other traditional activities at the reception, but none as objectionable as that. It is YOUR wedding, so if you object to that,. object firmly. There are many traditions, some I have seen at some weddings, others traditions at other weddings. not all traditions at all weddings...I presume the bride and groom choose what they want included....Show more
