Antonia Mogg: I think you should ask what makes the most sense for your situation. If you are just a regular user or Office applications, internet and email. Any new pc will do just fine. Look for at least 3-4 gig ram. In my books, spending money on a high end PC is a big waist of money. Go for the below $1000 machines from a brand you trust. Consider Dell, HP, Acer even emachine have been great for us. I use Photoshop and Web design software and still only buy lower end machines. Never regret. Spend money on a bigger screen if you can. This is what your eyes see all the time and it makes a difference. We humans are usually the slowest part in computing.
