Insurance failed to repair car correctly multiple times?

Joaquin Dronko: Contact a lawyer by my math the car should have been totaled. The insurance knew this and tried to save a buck. They need to buy the car and deal with it. The only way this is going to get solved is with a Lawyer.

Patricia Bolduc: Your problem isn't with the insurer, it's with the three repair shops you dealt with. All the insurer does is look at the estimates and approve them. They didn't write the car off, but not because it's a Honda. They made their decision the same way every other insurer in business makes that decision: If the repairs are lower than the vehicle's value they have it fixed, if they're higher than the vehicle's value they scrap the vehicle. Insurance companies only pay the bill. They don't sign off on the completed repairs, because only the vehicle's owner can do that. What your sister should have done was gone back to the original repair shop who said they completed the work and insisted that they re-do it properly at no! additional charge. They were the ones who promised they could fix all the damage for twelve thousand, so they need to answer for why they accepted the money but didn't do the work properly....Show more

Emile Midgley: they'll shop the money you have paid into the coverage and could no longer pay your bill. the only money you may see from them is that in case you made a charge, then cancelled the coverage halfway on an analogous time as you nevertheless have fairness contained in the charge which you made. or perhaps at that element they'll basically professional-value a reimbursement verify to you for the fairness final contained in the coverage. So somewhat do no longer do it greater difficulty than its nicely worth and contained in the long-term they won't conceal you for you desires if i'm understaning your question wisely. :)...Show more

Amada Greising: Insurance did not fail to repair your car, they do not do the repair... the repair shop did the work. It ! is not the insurance companies fault you took it to a bad repa! ir shop. You need to deal with the repair shop now. I can't help but wonder, if the job was so bad, why did you accept the work in the first place?

Coleman Ocegueda: I live in Louisiana, by the way
