Donnell Mollo: this is a miniDV camcorder, it connects directly to a computer via ieee 1394 port, no easycap is required. easycap is for capture of analog AV which every camcorder has output for, but AV quality is not even close to the quality of direct digital transfer.your camcorder does not record video to the memory card, that is for still photos only. for camcorders that have video on SD card or Sony Memory Stick, they connect to computer via USB cable. Most computer card readers are not capable of handling video files, so USB transfer to the computer hard disc drive is the best way, and easycap is not required in either case....Show more
