Cliff Tyre: Basically come in on an athletic stance. Keep your feet about shoulder width apart. Pop up 90 degrees(you can practice by just staying stationary and popping 90 with your skis on). Next, when you pop 90 try to bring up both feet at the same time not one after the other(thats for more advanced rails). When your on the rail still keep your athletic stance with the middle of your boots perpendicular to the rail. Always always look at the end of the rail. This may feel weird but over time this will come more natural for you because, looking at the end of the rail will make sliding rails easier when you start to progress on more difficult rails. When your near the end do another pop to straighten out.Even if you do not need to pop to land this is a good way to practice 270 out when you get better.Tip: Don't be afraid of too much speed. Sliding rails faster will make it easier to stay balanced....Show more
Fannie Collingwood: when you come up to it turn sidewa! ys and try and keep the binding under the center of the boot. and don't lean to far forward/backward, and keep your balance, and having speed helps, it's sort of like riding a bike go to slow and you stack.
Abel Adger: Don't have any fear, just go at it. have some speed, when you're in the air turn sideways, and land on the rail/box with your skis about shoulder width apart, don't forget to bend your knees. Get this down and then you can worry about style.
