Kristina Brockwell: How The Irish Saved Civilization by Thomas Cahill. The story and the way it is written is so interesting you will hardly notice that it is a "history" book.http://bit.ly/IrishSaved

Bianca Lannier: For a mature reader the Outlander series is an excellent series because despite how it's fiction there is true history on every page. It talks about britain in WWII but mainly it focuses on the Scottish rebellion of 1745 and the impact of it all. It goes into much depth with Bonnie Prince Charles and the uprising and everything. An awesome read due to the adventure and romance in the novel along with the historical aspect of the whole series.

Jeannetta Gaffigan: The Red Badge of Courage
