Romeo Tinnea: Lack of vitamin intake can definately be a reason for your dry skin. I found a great vitamin that might help you out. Dry skin is a common problem, particularly during the winter months when it is cold outside and artificial heat is used indoors. The harsh outside weather combined with the lack of humidity indoors makes it hard for your skin to stay moist. Certain activities, such as gardening, can also dry out the skin. In addition, using harsh soaps or bathing too often can wash away your skin’s natural moisture. More information is provided below....Show more

Len Dalba: Try a oily skin face wash, and a toner(cleansing lotion! ) to follow it. Also use a face scrub at least once a week.. ! no more than twice a week though. After washing your face apply a moisturizer to prevent the flaking. Mario Badescu has a great product line for individual skin types. Its moderately priced, and works great. Try their Oily/combination skin products. Getting rid of pimples.... Don't bother them. Neutrogena has a spot treatment. Mario Badescu also has a drying cream, you put a dab on your pimple and it reduces visibility over night. (run a face cloth under hot water until the towel is steaming, hold it a few inches from your face, the steam will open your pores... then put on the spot treatment or drying cream)...Show more

Gladys Worthing: I have oily skin too. Drinks lots of water and eat less fatty foods, more fruits and veggies of course. Eating lots of fruit and drinking lots of water helps wonders. Also, try B! oire facial cleanser for Acne. This is the only thing I've found that helps. Use twice a day. Don't over wash your face. I was washing mine 3 times a day because it gets so oily, but I read somewhere that that makes it worse. Since I went to twice a day, it's improved dramatically. You can blot your face whenever it feels oily....Show more

Von Houskeeper: Do not use soap! It dries the skin. During this season our skin tends to be drier, since we spend most of it with the heater on and have less sun. I suggest you buy a facial cleanser. I posted a link from a Consumer Review of the best cleansers & moisturizers available over the counter. You need to start using a moisturizer too. Use a toner also to keep hydrated before using the moisturizer. Look for those that say for Combination skin, since you do not have dry skin normally other than the fact that the seasons have changed and is causing your skin to dry a little more, but you are still combination skin type. Stay ! away from Clinique, there products are no different than the over the c! ounter stuff in the consumer review and charge a lot more. Good luck....Show more
