Finding Genealogy even though grandfather was adopted?

answers1: 1 Have you looked at your grandfathers birth certificate to
make sure his parents are not on it
2. Depending on where and when he was adopted and what type of
adoption some places will allow the adopted person to see their
adoption file, some you have to go to court to get them opened and
some are still living in the dark ages and seal then for ever...but it
is your grandfather who would havto do this not
you........................................

The internet is a great tool but there will never be everything online
and ancestry.com regardless of what they tell you is not the be all
and end all of genealogy so I am not surprised it came up blank, your
grandfather is alive and no reputable website will have details of
personal adoptions of people who are living it is an invasion of
privacy...the inforation that ancestry.com harvests from people
putting detailed information into their website is grouped together
and used/sold as it belongs to them once on there ( read their terms
and conditions) so other collectors of names can get information and
marketing companies can badger living people in trying to sell their
products....so be careful of thoe types of websites they are
commercial businesses with great marketing ''talk' in it purely to
make money
answers2: You have several options. First Google the state where your
grandfather was adopted plus adoption records to see what it might be
possible for him to request. Each state has a little different laws
but more and more are allowing adoption records to be unsealed.

THere are many registries where adoptees can list their information
and sometimes find a family member who is looking for them. Check
CyndisList - Adoption section.

You (if you are male) or your father or grandfather can have a Y-DNA
test done to see if you are able to find any genetic matches for a
possible family.
answers3: If you recognize in which the Orphanage used to be in Italy,

Church, which has stored great documents. you could assessment the
